These are mature vintages of wines made at the Renaissance winery by Gideon, decades ago… Launching the Taken From Granite label was meant to get the cream of those wines to the hands of wine lovers, as fast and as inexpensively as possible.

Note: Corks of older vintages may be dry and crumbly. This does not indicate that the wine is over the hill. Use caution when uncorking, preferably using an ah-so type opener or, even better, a “Durant”.
