Our third release of this wine, the 2016 vintage is an old-vine co-fermentation of Carignan, Syrah, and Grenache.
The result is a medium+ bodied, fragrant wine, rich in fruit and gentle in texture, with bright flavors, and a solid – if not very detectable – backbone. It has a good aging potential (15+ years), although, similarly to the case of the other members of our “blue” family of wines, it’s very accessible and inviting from right now. If consumed young, we’d highly recommend leaving some to be tasted the following day, or two. It may surprise you, in a good way!
1439 bottles produced. 13.4% Alc. Carignan (50%), Syrah (20%), Grenache 30%.
