Description
Our second release of this wine, the 2015 vintage is an old-vine co-fermentation of Carignan, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Semillon.
The result is a medium+ bodied, fragrant wine, rich in fruit, dense yet not heavy texture, bright flavors, and a solid backbone. The attack is mild and gentle, with juicy, spicy/flowery notes, leading to more grip and assertive, earthy/animal tones as it travels on to the back of the palate . This one definitely has a good aging potential (15+ years), although, similarly to the case of the other members of our “blue” family of wines, it’s very accessible and inviting from right now.
1452 bottles produced. 13.5% Alc. Carignan (50%), Syrah (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7%), Semillon 3%.
