The 2000 vintage is one of the richer, lusher vintages of the seven vintages on offer. Medium-full body, with fine-grain texture and ripe fruit, this may be one of the more “Californian” Pinots here, but consider the fact that it only has 13% alcohol… it’s far from being a modern day “fruit bomb”. It is well balanced and elegant, with true Pinot character, and a good, mouth-coating flavor.
