Description

At 25 years of age, this 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon is entering the phase of its “full maturity”. Once opened, it tastes better on day II and day III than on day I (please do try it!). It still has some ways to go but, by now, it does reveal its real character and inner qualities. It is medium bodied, with considerable concentration, fine grain, and real length. Initial tightness gives way to warm velvety richness with considerable time and air.

This is an a-typical Cabernet for California, being 100% terroir-driven, with no makeup or embellishment whatsoever.    12.5% Alcohol.

Minimum order 6 bottles, mix and match. 

Note: This wine has been stored in the winery cellar since its inception. That is a dry cellar, and the corks have become brittle and crumbly in time. Use caution when uncorking, preferably using an ah-so type opener or, even better, a “Durant”  .
