Description

The 2017 Tête à Tannat  is a co-fermentation of 90% Tannat and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from our location in the Sierra Foothills. This is a relatively little-known grape variety originating in the French Pyrenees, typically making black, tannic wines (in the Madiran appellation). Grown here in our red clay – decomposed Granite soils, the result is very unexpected: Juicy, electrical, and complex. Estimated aging potential: 20+ years.

25 ppm SO2 added at bottling
